Technical SEO

Google can't rank what it can't crawl.

A full technical audit and fix pass for sites where crawl errors, weak indexation, or slow Core Web Vitals are quietly capping organic growth — diagnosed properly, fixed in order of impact, and validated in Search Console, not left as a checklist.

What's included

Five things that actually move rankings

crawl.audit

Full technical crawl audit

Every URL crawled and cross-referenced against Search Console, server logs, and analytics to find what's actually costing you rankings — not a generic 200-point checklist.

indexation.fix

Indexation & crawl budget fixes

Robots.txt, canonicals, redirect chains, orphan pages, and duplicate content resolved so crawl budget goes toward pages that should rank.

speed.cwv

Core Web Vitals & page speed

LCP, INP, and CLS brought within Google's thresholds — image delivery, render-blocking scripts, and font loading fixed at the code level.

schema.markup

Structured data & schema markup

JSON-LD for products, articles, FAQs, or local business data implemented and validated so pages qualify for rich results.

monitoring.reports

Ongoing monitoring & reporting

Search Console and crawl health tracked after launch, with a plain-language report on what changed and what's next.

Checklist vs diagnosis

When a generic SEO checklist stops helping

Generic SEO checklist

  • Audit-tool severity scores treated as priority order
  • Fixes handed off as a PDF, with no implementation
  • Core Web Vitals flagged but never actually fixed
  • No validation once changes are made

Technical SEO, done properly

  • Issues ranked by estimated traffic and revenue impact
  • Fixes implemented, or handed off ready for your developer
  • Core Web Vitals fixed at the code level, not just flagged
  • Every fix validated in Search Console after it ships
How a project runs

Five stages, from crawl to validated fix

Crawl & audit

Full site crawl cross-referenced with Search Console data and server logs to find every real issue.

Prioritize by impact

Issues ranked by estimated effect on crawl budget, indexation, and rankings — not tool severity scores.

Fix & implement

Changes shipped directly, or handed off as a developer-ready fix list if you prefer to implement in-house.

Validate in Search Console

Each fix confirmed as recrawled and indexed correctly before it's marked done.

Monitor & report

Crawl health and rankings tracked post-launch, with an optional ongoing monitoring plan.

Questions worth asking before you start

Common questions

How much does technical SEO cost?

A one-time crawl audit with a prioritized fix list typically starts in the low four figures. Full implementation, including developer-level fixes and Core Web Vitals work, runs higher depending on site size and how much access your current stack allows. Ongoing monitoring is usually billed separately as a smaller monthly retainer.

How is technical SEO different from content or link-building SEO?

Content and links only help if search engines can crawl, render, and index the pages in the first place. Technical SEO fixes the underlying plumbing — crawl budget, indexation, page speed, structured data — so the content and links you already have can actually earn rankings.

Do you need access to my hosting or codebase?

For the audit, no — a crawl of the live site and access to Google Search Console is enough to diagnose most issues. Implementing fixes usually needs either direct code access, a staging environment, or a developer on your side to ship changes handed off as a prioritized list.

How long until technical SEO fixes show results?

Crawl and indexation fixes are often reflected in Search Console within one to three weeks as Google recrawls the site. Ranking movement typically follows over the following one to three months, depending on how much of the site's potential was being suppressed versus genuinely uncompetitive.

Can you fix Core Web Vitals without a full rebuild?

Usually yes. Most Core Web Vitals problems come from a handful of fixable causes — unoptimized images, render-blocking scripts, oversized fonts, or a bloated third-party tag stack — rather than the underlying architecture. A rebuild is only necessary in a minority of cases.
